About Wayne
Before the sex toys, there were the cameras. Wayne spent the 1990s as a press photographer, starting in local papers before moving into agency and freelance work covering the royals at the height of the Diana years. His pictures made most of the UK nationals, the Evening Standard, the broadsheets, the Sundays, and ran on covers around the world. He numerous royal events, including Diana's trip to the United States and Prince Charles in Ukraine, among others. After that came a degree, teaching at university level and a spell in IT, and then, in 2004, the swerve nobody saw coming: founding E-Stim Systems, the award-winning British manufacturer, and spending the next twenty-two years making electric sex toys in Watford. He's worked both sides of the lens, which is a polite way of saying he knows what a good story looks like and won't waste your time chasing one.

We make sex toys for a living, so let's start there. The design, the engineering, why people want what they want, and the behind-the-scenes gossip from a corner of the industry most people never get to see. No porn, no cheap thrills, but plenty of shocking revelations from shocking people. It depends what your show is after:

The show, briefly
I Make Sex Toys is the podcast where the manufacturer does the talking, the making, the business, and the bits nobody else will tell you. Generally a new episode hits every second Tuesday of the month. It's charted top ten in the UK and across several other countries, including a number two in Latvia, which still makes me laugh.
